Oreo dropped a collaboration with Lucasfilm with a special edition Star Wars sandwich cookies. Fans will be able to purchase packs of classic treats representing either the light or dark side of strength.
The funny take? You won’t know which side you have until you actually open the package. Each pack will include one of two different colored toppings: red for the dark side and blue for the light side, both infused with “kyber” sugar crystals inspired by lightsaber cores. Oreos also feature heroes or villains engraved on the cookies themselves, with characters like Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and a stormtrooper representing the dark side., and Luke Skywalker, Yoda and Princess Leia representing the light side. In total, 20 emblematic characters will be presented.
Limited time Star Wars Oreo cookie packs will be available for pre-sale from May 30 on Oreo.com/StarWars and they will begin rolling out to retailers nationwide on June 10. Take a look at the models in the gallery ahead!
