There are cherry blossoms all over Hyrule, but this map found in Outskirt Stable shows you where to spot them. Stable owner Embry will also point out a specific cherry blossom to the northwest on Satori Mountain. breath of the wild players might recognize this area as the location where you might find the namesake Satori, or the Mountain Lord, whenever the location emitted a visible glow in the distance.

Embry mentions the location in hopes you might get something for him: a photo of a cherry blossom to decorate the interior of Outskirt Stable with. Once you’ve taken your shot, head to the Tsutsu-um shrine to quickly return to the stable. Showing him the photo, Embry will paint a copy and hang it up, giving you an egg tart and a pony point in return, which you can use to redeem rewards at various stables in Hyrule. And if you’re not happy with your photography skills the first time around, you can always provide another image to Embry for him to trade. The other stables also have their own artistic challenges. To see what each needs, simply step into the empty frame and “Examine it” to have the stable owner give you their request.

What do cherry blossoms do in Tears of the Kingdom?

Cherry blossoms reveal nearby caves. All you have to do is step into the dish next to a cherry blossom tree and put some fruit in it (it can be any type of fruit, not just apples, and you can pick it up ). Then, Satori, the Lord of the Mountain will appear and pillars of light will mark all the caves around. The effect isn’t permanent, but it lasts a decent amount of time in-game. Caves are great for hunting Blupees because they always seem to spawn where those light beams are projected. The caves are also home to Brightbloom Seeds, essential for exploring the depths, and Bubbulfrogs, creatures that drop Bubbel Gems after taking a single hit. They are fairly harmless as they only blow bubbles at you which will stop you in your tracks but inflict no damage.
