Billionaire Elon Musk has claimed former United States President Donald Trump would be re-elected in a “landslide victory” if charged by Manhattan prosecutors.
Mr Musk was reacting to reports that Mr Trump would be indicted as early as next week. “If that happens, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory,” Musk tweeted on the microblogging site today. It’s worth noting that the Twitter CEO said so in reaction to a Fox News report describing how Trump might be “handcuffed,” “fingerprinted and processed,” and “escorted into the courtroom.”

Mr Trump himself posted on his Truth Social platform that he expects to be jailed on Tuesday, adding that his fans should “protest” to “take back our nation”. He said, “Illegal leaks from a corrupt and highly political Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. By far the most prominent Republican candidate and former President of the United States of America will be arrested on Tuesday of next week. Demonstrate, take back our nation! “

If the Manhattan District Attorney charges Mr Trump, the 76-year-old would become the first former president to be charged with a crime in the United States.
According to a report published in the Independenta representative for Mr. Trump pointed out that there is currently no information on the specific date of a possible indictment.
