Super-realistic boats, a 6-foot-wide driveway and the Cyberhammer in this week’s Beyond Cars roundup

The municipal codes of cities and housing communities seem to target people who like to work on their vehicles or car park well in sight, but only one seaside, California man has found a creative way to flip a figurative bird towards these frivolous codes. Etienne Constable received a notice from the city asking him to comply with a restrictive municipal code car park for non-passenger vehicles, and he had to put away his boat behind a 6-foot-high fence so it is not visible from the street. Constable found a creative way to comply while expressing his disgust by having a neighbor and a muralist paint his new fence to make it appear invisible. -Logan Carter Learn more
