Hello everyone and welcome to the week! It’s time again to look back at the remarkable updates of the last seven days. I could have filled half of today’s article with Marvel games running Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 updates, so be thankful you spared the world. There are a bunch of different games in today’s bundle, and I think I’ve put together a good bunch for you to read at the start of your week. Of course, you can keep an eye out for updates yourself by participating in the TouchArcade forums. This weekly summary is just here to fill you in on things you might have missed. Let’s go for that!
Marvel Contest of ChampionsFree
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was a very good movie. Even if you’re exhausted from the MCU, I hope you’ll watch it. Heart for miles. I’m really looking forward to Superman’s Legacy NOW. Anyway, like other Marvel apps right now, Contest of champions is performing a Guardians event. It involves Moon Dragon, Adam Warlock, Drax, and all sorts of shenanigans. As usual, he doesn’t try to follow the events of the film, but rather composes his own funny story.

MARVEL Future Combat, Free Here is the other one that I have chosen to highlight. This is intriguing as I think this is the first big event update for this game in a while that doesn’t add any new characters. Instead, you just get new costumes for Star-Lord, Rocket, and Mantis to reflect their appearances in the latest movie. There’s also a new Tier 4 Star-Lord and Tier 3 Rocket, along with new PVP content and a new growth system. If you really love Guardians events, be sure to check Marvel Puzzle Quest, Marvel SnapAnd Marvel Strike Force Also. Excelsior!

Jetpack rideFree Whoa… is this a new event in Jetpack ride? Not a replay? Not an imaginary story? Not a dream? Cool! So what is the subject? It is… hygiene? GOOD. Alright, of course. It is very important to maintain good personal hygiene, after all. Collect Hand Soap Tokens and you might be able to get your hands on some prizes including a Profit Bird skin, the Disinfectant Jetpack, the Nurse costume, a Medic skin for the SAM, and new backgrounds from level. I can honestly say that I never saw this one coming.

Merge MansionHere’s our mandatory free merge puzzle game update for the week. his grandmother is still quite popular, and its large player base will surely be happy to have even more mysteries to uncover. This update sets up the game for the May Season Pass and all the events it will contain. There’s a new area in the form of the hallway of the mansion, which admittedly isn’t the most exciting of places possible. Well, I’m sure they’ll find something interesting to do with it anyway. Add some bug fixes and various improvements and that’s it.

Real Race 3Free
Real Race 3 keeps rolling, years after Eli caused intergalactic conflict by awarding it four stars in his review. It’s a usual update for the game including new cars like the Ferrari Monza SP1, a bunch of new events, returning events and new videos in Real Racing TV. Plenty to keep you busy running around, and maybe enough for some of you to throw a few extra bucks into the fire…mint. Fire mint. Developers, you see. If there was a point here, I lost it. Let’s move on.

Sneaky SasquatchSo, let’s take a look at Apple Arcade for a quick second, because there are a few cool updates I want to snap here. The first is Sneaky Sasquatch, which adds a new arcade game to play with lots of new prizes on offer. You can get a portable cassette player that lets you dance anytime you want, and a set of VR glasses that will help you find hidden objects. New sunglasses and nachos were also recently added. Nachos! When I first moved out of my parents’ house, my new roommate’s younger brother often visited and played games with us. Her favorite joke was “What do you call a cheese that isn’t yours?” Nacho cheese!” Sounds like a cute joke for a kid, but he was seventeen years. But hey, I remember, so the joke couldn’t be that bad, I guess.
Mini-highwaysare you a Mini-highways expert? If so, this update is for you. I mean, the name of the update is Extra for Experts. So keep walking with your fantasy “citation needed”. The update adds a new daily challenge per week that includes expert mode, giving you a weekly slice of spice to look forward to. Other than that, there are plenty of bug fixes, performance improvements, and a few hidden things to let the developers fix balance issues right away.
Fruit Ninja Classic+, Sensei has seemingly decided it’s time to take to the seas in this latest update. Dive into the treacherous waters and see if you can find any loot, maybe even the Crown Jewel Blade. The event is already underway and will continue until the 21st of this month. Naturally, there is also a new blade power that you can get by upgrading your blade in Sensei’s Swag. Oh! Yar har har! I don’t know. Sometimes it’s hard to stretch those paragraphs when the update doesn’t have a lot of them. Clever?
Pocket Card Jockey: Ride!I think I will encounter the same problem here, but what can you do? Pocket card jockey has a new update, and like the last two updates, this results in a bunch of bug fixes and a new horse. The name of the new horse is Schoolgirl, and I sure hope it’s a horse wearing a traditional Seifuku because that would be hilarious. I haven’t checked yet, but you can by going to the Loans tab. It should be available there if you have won G1 races.
LEGO® Star Wars™: CastawaysWhy just celebrate Star Wars Day when you can celebrate star wars Month? Remember the reason for the season as a new double-bladed lightsaber is added to the game, accessible to those who have unlocked the Adept of the Force class. For the entire month of May, you can earn double XP in-game and also use unlimited Force Adept Skills energy. It’s actually a really fun thing for players to do. Good idea, developers and/or publisher! I will give him the coveted UMMSotW award for allowing non-stop Force chicanery for a month.
That’s about it for the important updates for the past week. I’m sure I missed a few, so feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think anything needs mentioning. As usual, major updates will likely have their own news throughout this week, and I’ll be back next Monday to recap and fill in the blanks. Have a good week!
