Sen. Tim Scott warns Democrats could ‘weaponize’ comments from 2024 GOP candidates

GOP presidential nominee Sen. Tim Scott warned Thursday that Democrats could “weaponize” the comments of Republican candidates against each other.

“I think the road to socialism is through a divided Republican Party,” he told ‘Your World’ with Neil Cavuto. “Anything we say about each other, the Democrats will weaponize against all of us, regardless of the candidate.”

“I’m going to focus on the real problem in America. The real problem in America is Joe Biden’s irresponsible leadership,” the South Carolina senator continued. “It’s time for America to take a stand and elect a president who understands what it feels like to be on both sides of the track. Who understands that broken pieces become opportunity in America.”

Scott said the party could not continue to “vehemently attack those who want to represent the greatest conservative party in modern American history”, which he said was the “great opportunity party”.
