A Milwaukee man was sentenced in September to life in prison after pleading guilty to a fatal shooting in 2021.
FOX 6 in Milwaukee reports that 26-year-old Brielle Bonds pleaded guilty to first-degree willful manslaughter.
On Monday, a judge sentenced Bonds to life in prison, yet after spending 30 years in prison, he may be eligible for extended supervision.

Another man, 25-year-old Santos Sollier, was convicted of first-degree intentional homicide in February. In April, he too was sentenced to life in prison, although he could have been eligible for extended supervision after 40 years.

On March 29, 2021, police responded to a report of a body in an alley. When officers arrived, they found a victim riddled with multiple bullets, who died at the scene.
The news station reported that investigators found 10 shell casings on the ground near the victim’s body, and that surveillance footage captured nearby showed two men shooting the victim.

The footage also showed Bonds and Sollier talking with the victim, and several minutes later, the two men backed away from the victim with their arms outstretched, while each of them held a handgun.

A criminal complaint states that the victim stood unarmed near an SUV before two men drew their weapons and fled the scene in an SUV.

Investigators spoke to a woman caught on surveillance talking with the men prior to the shooting. He told police that he and the victim ran into Bonds and Sollier at a bar, and that one of the suspects and the victim were arguing, although it never turned violent.
