Hello everyone and welcome to the week! It’s time again to look back at the remarkable updates of the last seven days. Seems like a relatively normal bunch of updates to me this week, and that’s often the case when there aren’t any fun holidays to boost things up. I did my best to find interesting updates and write them in an entertaining way to start your week. Of course, you can keep an eye out for updates yourself by participating in the TouchArcade forums. This weekly summary is just here to fill you in on things you might have missed. Let’s go for that!

MARVEL SNAPFree We will start with the latest update of marvel snap, which I covered in detail in a separate story last week. It adds deck customization features and also brings balance changes that have already seriously altered the meta for some players. The developers have certainly done their best to try to keep the game balanced, fun, and varied and this update was another effort towards that end.

Disney Heroes: Battle Mode, Free Apparently, this game is celebrating its fifth anniversary. Clever. Good job, team. It’s not easy these days. Anyway, as you can guess, there is a new character in the playable roster from this new version of the game. It’s Tiana from The princess and the Frog! Neat. It was a really good movie, but I felt like it went under the radar. This update also includes bug fixes and improvements, as most of these things do.

Honkai Impact 3rdFree Older people Honkai got an update this week, so let’s put it back in the spotlight for a second or two. This update includes a new S rank battlesuit called Dreamweaver and an SP battlesuit known as Terminal Aide 0017. There is also a new event, TeRiRi’s Magical Quest, where you can get the new outfit of Herrscher of Thunder and more as a reward. There is also a new type of weapon, the javelin. Launch it and see what you can do with it. There are a few other things here, but I’ll let you tune in and find out for yourself if you’re curious.

Subway surfers, Free It’s a bit hard to remember, but eleven years ago when this game started, the place where it started was Copenhagen. And now the kids are going back for a bit revenge. I lie, not revenge. Only surfing. WITH A REVENGE. Nah, I got you again. Anyway, the Rivals are here and you can add their leader Catrine to your list. There’s a bunch of other stuff here, including gifts to celebrate the eleventh anniversary, so go ahead and see what’s what.

Jetpack Joyride 2It’s getting hard to find new things to write about the same old updates in Jetpack rideI therefore decided to transmit his TMNT update and check this one out for its sequel instead. It adds a prestige system to the game so you can reset it to get exclusive rewards and perks, new story levels to go through, and a new avatar to play sports. And I’ll be rolling out the little red carpet again for bug fixes and performance improvements, the silent champions of these articles.

Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap BeatNew Taiko no Tatsujin update means new songs, without fail. Now that I said the next update will just add a cool mustache for Don-chan or something. But I guess the important thing is that this update contains new songs. Five of them, to be exact. Probably nothing most of you would know, but here are the names anyway: JoJo Sono Chi no Sadame, Stone Ocean, Nainainai, MayonakanoDOA – Stay With MeAnd rare hero. They are good tracks, even if you don’t know them, give them a try and I think you will have fun.

Crumble at the castle, I was going to make some sort of joke that riffed on the old expression about cookie crumbling, but I’m 95% sure I’ve made that joke before. My memory is no help here but I know myself and I know I couldn’t have resisted it. So instead, I’m going to go without a stupid joke and just let you know that this game has sixty new levels to play in a whole new kingdom, plus a new explosive weapon to help your castle crumble. Also, don’t tell Dad, but there are also bug fixes and performance improvements here. I entrust you with this secret.

Temple Run 2, Free A curious update, of course. There’s a lot here and I don’t know how it all fits together, so let’s call it a medley and move on. First, a new runner in the form of Tamatoa the Samoan warrior. Next, a Mama Bear pet to celebrate Mother’s Day. In fact, it governs. A new Scrub Hat in honor of Nurses Day. I didn’t know about Nurses Day, but if anyone deserves a day, it’s them. A memorial hat for Memorial Day, too. And finally, Barry Bones Outrider and Karma Lee Shadow Walker make their stunning return! It seems random enough to give the coveted UMMSotW price at, so I think I will. Don’t spend it all in one place, y’all.

June’s Journey: Hidden Objects, Free Let’s see where June is heading this time around. Nowhere, at first sight. But at least there are cases involving plants, so that’s fine. There is a new story called Secrets where you will tackle hidden object scenes with new in-game gameplay mechanics such as Silhouette Mode and Mastery Challenge. Well, that should be enough for now. New story scenes and all that. I can’t imagine what else players would want from an update for this one.

cartoon explosion, Free We’ll be wrapping things up with our mandatory free matching puzzles update for this week. It is cartoon explosion, and that’s business as usual for this game. That means you get fifty new levels to play, plus a little story to frame it all. It’s called Shark Detected, so the toons are either on the hunt for a pool hustler, or things are about to get very preposterous. Either way, we’re going to need a bigger boat.

That’s about it for the important updates for the past week. I’m sure I missed a few, so feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think anything should be mentioned. As usual, major updates will likely have their own news throughout this week, and I’ll be back next Monday to recap and fill in the blanks. Have a good week!
