Maj. Mike Leepper said police are investigating what may have led to the shooting outside the restaurant.
A shooting in the parking lot of a Steak ‘n Shake in Indianapolis, Indiana, killed one person and injured three others.
“We don’t believe the Steak ‘n Shake business was associated in any way with the shooting other than the individuals in the parking lot,” he told WXIN-TV. “The three people who were shot and still alive ran inside the business for help.”
