How to Save Full Page Screenshots as Images on Your iPhone

Have you ever come across a web page that’s so informative that you wish you could keep it in its entirety, not just what’s visible on your screen? Well, you’re in luck. Today we’re looking at the nifty trick of capturing a full-page screenshot that’s much larger than your iPhone screen.

When you take a screenshot in iOS 16 and earlier, you normally have the option to save it as a PDF. Starting with iOS 17, you’ll see a Save to Photos option. This will allow you to save the full page of your screenshot as an image if you wish. It only takes a few steps. Here’s how to save a full-page screenshot as an image in iOS 17. How to Capture a Full Page Image on iPhone

  • Open it app or website that you want to capture as a full page screenshot
  • press the Power and volume up buttons simultaneously to take a screenshot. You will see a preview of the screenshot in the lower left corner of the screen.
  • Press the Preview to open the screenshot editor. You will see two options at the top: Screen and full page
  • Press on Full page to see the full page screenshot or click Screen just to see the visible part of the screen

  • You can use the slide on the right to scroll the full-page screenshot. You can also crop, annotate Or share the screenshot.

  • To save the entire page or screen as an image, tap Do in the upper left corner.
  • Then click Save to Photos
  • Now open it photo app
  • You can view it in Screenshots album in the Photos app or in the Album All photos if iCloud Photos is enabled in Settings > Pictures.
