How to Reroll Passive Items in Diablo IV

As in Diablo IIIplayers can choose to reroll passive items in Diablo IV. This is done by talking to the occultist in Kyovashad or any town that features this type of NPC. The Occultist in Diablo IV has a plethora of uses, which include both the mining and imprinting aspects of gear, but it can also allow you to reroll passives. The specific tab you need to navigate to get new passives is the “Enchant Item” option.

You can find the location of the Occultist in Kyovashad, the first major city of Diablo IVbelow.

Simply place the item you want to change a passive on in the appropriate slot and you can reroll the randomly selected slot. However, this will link the item to your account. This means that you will not be able to trade it with other players. Also, you can only choose to reroll one passive on an item. This means that you cannot change all of an item’s passive stats and you can only choose one. This passive can be recast an infinite number of times, but will cost significantly more gold each time you choose to enchant.

Diablo IV Re-Roll Passives Enchant Items

The first reroll will cost just over 1,000 gold and specific materials depending on the rarity of the item. For example, rare items will only require gold and a veiled crystal, which can be obtained through side quests or by collecting equipment. However, re-rolling passives on legendary gear in Diablo IV will cost Gold, Veiled Crystal, and Demonic Roses. Fiend Roses are exceptionally rare, so it is advisable to take this into consideration before re-rolling any passives by enchanting the item.
