It’s an exciting time to be a Houston Texans fan, which hasn’t happened very often in the franchise’s history.

That’s what happens when you have one of the best young quarterbacks in the game, and it didn’t take long before CJ Stroud proved to be just that.

Stroud is coming off one of the greatest rookie seasons this game has ever seen, and he is expected to be even better next season and for years to come.

With that in mind, the guys at the Million Dollars Worth of Game podcast asked him to rank his top five quarterbacks in the league, and he had a somewhat shocking list.

He chose Jalen Hurts at No. 5, Dak Prescott at No. 4, himself at No. 3, Lamar Jackson at No. 2 and Patrick Mahomes at No. 1 (via Sarah Ellison).

Although they were all very good quarterbacks, it didn’t take long before fans were calling for Dak Prescott over the other players.

Truth be told, and no disrespect to Prescott, but he’s not a top-five quarterback in the league, and that’s perfectly fine.

Joe Burrow, Josh Allen and Aaron Rodgers are all clearly better players, and some could even make a case for Kirk Cousins, Matthew Stafford, Justin Herbert and even maybe Jared Goff if you can nitpick.

Then again, at the end of the day, everything is subjective, and he has every right to like Dak or someone else more; That’s the beauty of sport.
