Insomniac Games is clearly a safe pair of hands – its work with the Spider-Man franchise on PS4 and PS5 has earned it Marvel’s trust, on the face of it.

This was followed in December 2022 by a blog post from PlayStation confirming that the game is slated for release. Fall 2023. However, we really got some proper detail in the lengthy gameplay showcase we had in May 2023 as part of the PlayStation Showcase.
First, we take a look at Kraven the Hunter, a member of the Sinister Six from the comics who will come to New York City hoping to hunt down the superpowered good guys and bad guys, starring the two Spider-Men in its viewfinder as well as many others.
