Democrats in big Senate race accused of ‘pandering’ to black voters by supporting reparations

FIRST ON FOX: The Democrat running in what could be one of the most important Senate elections this year is being accused of “pleasing” black voters with taxpayer-funded reparations.

Conservative Win it Back PAC announced Friday the launch of a new ad, part of a massive seven-figure media buy, targeting Rep. Colin Allred, the Democratic candidate for Texas Senate, calling him out specifically for this which he says are his links. to the movement for reparations for black Americans.

The ad will begin airing Friday in the El Paso media market, in the middle of the Texas Democratic Convention, which is taking place in the city and will target Hispanic voters, according to a study by a group largely opposed to reparations. The announcement will be broadcast in English and Spanish.

Allred has served in groups with pro-reparations positions, including as vice chair of the board of directors of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, as well as a member of the Congressional Black Caucus.
