The cow that roamed the streets of the Chicago area after a high school prank fell flat has been given a new name.
The Hooved Animal Humane Society (HAHS) of Woodstock, Ill., took the ox into custody after the animal was captured by law enforcement, according to a news release issued by the police department. of Niles.
“HAHS is happy to share that we have provided a safe landing place for the cow that was found loose in the Niles area,” the humanitarian society shared on its public Facebook.

The animal care team asked their followers to help name the cow and drop name suggestions in the comments section.
After receiving hundreds of submissions, the winning name was drawn on May 8 — Blossom.
“Which we think is so fitting since she is truly thriving in front of our eyes every day,” HAHS shared online.
