Michelle Yeoh recently won Best Actress at the 95th Academy Awards, becoming the first Asian woman to win the award. The prize was awarded for the film ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’.
In a retrospective interview, the actress revealed her love for Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan. Moreover, she expressed her desire to collaborate with the Bollywood star. Michelle said she had never worked with Aamir Khan, but they both represent an environmental NGO.
She went on to say that she was a big fan of his work. She claims that Aamir is a humanitarian besides being an outstanding actor. She also hopes to have the chance to work with him soon. Michelle was asked if she had watched the hit movie 3 Idiots to which she replied: “Of course I don’t think there’s anyone who hasn’t seen that”.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan was most recently seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, an official Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. The Hindi adaptation disappointed audiences and performed poorly at the box office. It also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role.
The actor recently took a sabbatical after starring in films and will soon be seen producing the Hindi remake of Spanish film Campeones. Aamir reportedly approached Salman to play the lead role in the film. Salman has expressed interest in the script but has not yet committed.
