Spice up is not pregnant. The giant baby bump seen in a single photo she shared earlier this week was fake. During an Instagram Live on Friday, March 17, the dancehall singer explained the importance of the motherhood image while detailing her extensive near-death experience with sepsis.
“Big up to God the Father, big up to Jesus. He literally saved my life, and that’s what I celebrate. That’s all it is. This was never intentionally done for the photo to offend anyone, and so if it offended anyone, then I apologize, and I’m sorry if it offended you.

Spice added that the post was not about women struggling with fertility issues. Instead, she expressed sympathy for people who went through these experiences, including her friends and family. Still, the star insisted on the photo, which she captioned “God has been so good to me,” symbolizes rebirth.
“It was just about celebrating my new life. Give glory to God, give thanks to God for this new life, for this new journey. Second rebirth, I am a whole new person. I feel rejuvenated,” she added.
Near-death experience with sepsis after breast implant surgery
In early November, Spice, who was on a social media hiatus, returned to Instagram to dispel rumors about her health. At the time, several blogs, including Suregon Made Curves, claimed the star suffered medical complications following a cosmetic procedure.
In her message, she denied having had a heart attack, died or suffered from a coma. A few days earlier, The Shade Room previously reported that Spice’s agent dismissed the coma claims. Yet at the time, Spice only revealed that she was recovering from a “medical scare” – no details.
On Friday, Spice finally revealed all the details about the hit his health has taken over the past few months. During a live-streamed session that lasted over an hour, the singer said she was “literally dead” after a serious case of sepsis.
The singer has confirmed that she was in the Dominican Republic when her health began to fail – a claim made by Surgeon Made Curves in their first Spice health posts.
Spice revealed that she was in the Dominican Republic to have her breast implants changed, which was done successfully. While there, she saw doctors about the fibrosis in her stomach, but was told they would go away.
She remained in the country after the operation but started having extreme vomiting. When she consulted doctors, the doctors told her that she had a hernia and her intestines had pushed through the space created by the hernia and ruptured. This caused septic shock in her body.
“The sepsis literally started to…eat my skin. I don’t know how to explain it to you, but my skin started to deteriorate. It started attacking my lungs and I didn’t even know sepsis was so dangerous. »
She was hospitalized in the Dominican Republic from October to December and underwent multiple procedures. Upon her return to the United States, she underwent another surgery, still aimed at sepsis. At the end, the singer thanked God for being her guardian throughout the medical scare.
“Remember to include God because today isn’t about me. Take me out of the equation. Slide me all you want, smack me all you want. Say it all the bad of me you want, I’m fine, I’m good with it because I always tell people that I don’t care what people think of me as long as my heart is right with God, me good.
Spice said today that she just wants to be a witness that there is a God.
Following her explanation, she also released a music video and song about her experience.
