(TSX:) added 7.40% or 0.66 points to end at 9.58 and Trisura Group Ltd. (TSX:) rose 5.85% or 2.00 points to 36.20 late in the session.
Biggest Losers Included CI Financial Corporation (TSX:), which fell 17.14% or 2.64 points to trade at 12.76 late in the session. Converge Technology Solutions Corp (TSX:) fell 5.97% or 0.20 points to end at 3.15 and Nausea Corp (TSX:) fell 4.02% or 1.97 points to 47.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising stocks 509 to 457 and 106 remained unchanged on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, gold futures for June delivery fell 0.24% or 4.75 to $2,015.75 per troy ounce. Meanwhile, crude oil for June delivery fell 1.06% or 0.75 to $70.12 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 0.99% or 0. 74 to trade at $74.24 a barrel.
CAD/USD was unchanged 0.47% to 0.74, while CAD/EUR was unchanged 0.17% to 0.68.
US dollar index futures rose 0.64% to 102.53.
