The criticism of Caitlin Clark by her WNBA peers continued Monday night… when a Sun player was so upset by the way the rookie seemed to embellish a foul — she actually made fun of her right on the court .
The moment happened during the Fever’s game against Connecticut at Mohegan Sun Arena… when in the second quarter of the game, DiJonai Carrington elbowed Clark behind the wheel and was whistled for a foul.

Carrington clearly believed the Indiana guard hadn’t answered the call…so she taunted her. She threw her head and neck back to mimic the exaggerated movements Clark was making around the room — which seemed to annoy the former Iowa superstar.
Caitlin was still able to knock down her next free throws…but Carrington had the last laugh of the night against the rookie, to say the least.

Connecticut held Clark to just 10 points – all of which came in the first half. Clark was then benched in the second half, as the fever grew huge on the scoreboard. Ultimately, the Sun won 89-72.
Clark and The Fever are now just 3-10 this season.
This loss is just the latest low point for Clark… who not only was hit by a low kick foul by Chennedy Carter earlier this month, but she was left out Team USA’s Olympic roster Also.
After the L, however, she remained optimistic… telling reporters that she and her team had “two very winnable games” later this week.
