France’s clothing-footwear prices rose by 6.1 per cent month on month in August after a 10.9 per cent July fall.
Year on year, such prices slowed down: a 2.2 per cent YoY rise in August after a 3.4-per-cent July rise.
Consumer prices rose by 4.9 per cent YoY after July’s rise of 4.3 per cent.
Core inflation fell YoY, reaching 4.6 per cent after July’s 5 per cent.
